Our Big Three Year Old

I'm still in a state of shock that 3 years ago we delivered our sweet baby girl! Time is flying by and I keep telling Jayden to stop growing older, but she clearly isn't listening :) 

This year was a little different since we were at our company conference all week, so Jayden came down after daycare to celebrate with a small birthday dinner. While she was at Ms. Kathleen's house all week, they had a few celebrations each day so all the kids could celebrate her birthday!

I'm a little late posting about her birthday as today we had her 3 year appointment and I wanted to know her actual height & weight! This appointment went much better than her last check up! She was still a little apprehensive, but overall did great. I told her we were going to the doctor, like Doc McStuffins, so she would get excited. While we were there, Princess Ariel & I had to have our ears & heart checked before she would do any of it...oh the things we do for our kids! :)

Overall the doctor is happy with her progress! She is still in the 3rd percentile, but exceeding all expectations for development.

Pump It Up!

All week long, we've been looking forward to today...Jayden's Birthday Party! I still can't believe she's almost 3!!! 

We went to Pump it Up and jumped all morning! Every day this week Jayden kept asking if it was her birthday party day...and every time she would tell someone we were going to the bounce house for her birthday, she would invite them! She would say "you come with us?" ~ she's so sweet! Love her to pieces <3

Well this morning Jayden came running in our room excited to go to the bounce house! It was so much fun getting her ready for the party...of course I made her take a picture before leaving...

The kids were pooped out! Pretty sure all the parents were thanking me when their kids passed out for nap time after jumping and playing all morning!

After the party, some family came over to continue celebrating! Grandma Dee stopped by with a very special surprise for Jayden! Her very first Barbie Cake! She LOVED it!
