Disneyland...here we come!

After Christmas, we took Jayden on her first Disneyland adventure and it was so much fun! DISNEYLAND PASSES = BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER! Even though it was supposed to be overly packed, since we went later in the evening, the parking was really easy and there was no wait for the tram.

Once we were in side, it was a different story...it was pretty crowded, but we arrive just in time to see Minnie Mouse! As we walked into the park, out came Minnie to take pictures and sign autographs...so Jayden was able to meet Minnie Mouse for the first time!

Jayden was a little unsure about Minnie...she wouldn't take her eyes off her! When we were trying to get her to look at the camera everyone in line started waving at her and calling her name...it didn't take long for her to look in that direction and we finally got a good pic!

While we were in line we also got to see the tree lighting on Main Street! It was beautiful! Luckily my phone was handy so I got it on video!!

We had so much fun just walking around the park. All the holiday decorations were beautiful! Especially the Christmas tree on Main Street and It's a Small World! Jayden was in awe with all the lights! She LOVED it!

Since it was crowded, we only went on one ride in California Adventure...Jayden was sleeping so she missed out, but daddy waited with her as I went on with Bre, Al & Ella.

Such a fun first trip to Disneyland! I can't wait for more Disney adventures with Jayden!

Jayden's First Christmas

Is it just me, or did the holidays fly by way too fast this year?! I can't believe Christmas is over already! We had such an amazing week! Between spending time with family and celebrating Jesus' birthday, it really was a magical year!

Christmas Eve we were with my side of the family - so we started off by heading to church for the Christmas Eve service. After church we went to my moms to have dinner and open presents with the kids! Bryson and Hunter LOVED all of their gifts and couldn't wait to start playing with all their new toys, while the girls enjoyed the little things, like tearing the wrapping paper!

My mom's tree had so many presents under it, it reminded me of Christmas when I was growing up!

We had such an awesome day! I LOVE LOVE LOVE our family <3 We have so much to be thankful for this year and I feel so blessed to have the most amazing family in the world.

That night Jonathan really wanted to open presents early and of course I didn't mind! Besides, the whole month I was trying to guess what he was getting me...so I didn't object to opening gifts early :) When I opened my box, I saw Mr. Incredible staring back at me on a piece of paper...Jonathan surprised me and got us Disneyland passes! We are so excited to take our little Jayden to Disneyland all year long! AANNDDDDD Al surprised Bre with passes also...so Jayden gets to go with her cousin Ella! Whoop whoop!

Our awesome Christmas tree!

Is this not the best Christmas face ever?!

Such a happy babe!

Christmas day we got up and opened gifts with our sweet Jayden. And of course she enjoyed just tearing the paper ... but whenever she opened a new book she wanted to hold each one. What a book worm!

I love this pic! Such a sweet girl <3

Jayden & Daddy with her "daddy" books

I love her!

Definitely one of my favorite pics from the whole day! She loves her daddy!!

After her nap, we made a pit stop at Monnie's house to see the kids on Christmas day...the boys were still in their jammies playing with their new toys!

Then we headed to Jonathan's parents house to celebrate with them ~ since it was 80 degrees outside, we went over early to play some games outside. I gave Jonathan Kupp for Christmas...so we brought it with us to play...Grandpa Scott was the reigning champ all day!

What a beautiful Christmas day!

After games, we opened presents...Jayden got some awesome presents from her grandma and grandpa!!

I think the biggest surprise was the pink hot wheels four wheeler! It's going to be so much fun when she can ride it! :)

So adorable!!

My two babies :)

We had such an amazing Christmas! I loved watching the kids open their gifts and see them get so excited with every single present! And I definitely think every year will get better and better as Jayden gets a little older and begins to understand what Christmas is all about! I think Jonathan says it best...giving is so much more rewarding than receiving :)

<-- BEST SANTA EVER

Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas!!!

Disney On Ice

Growing up my mom took me and my sisters to every single Disney On Ice...so naturally when we found out the Rockn' Ever After Disney On Ice was in town I was for sure taking Jayden! Luckily, we got suite (sweet) tickets and we were able to take all the cousins!

The girls in their Disney outfits! Ella was so tired...she slept through the whole show!

Jonathan & the twins...
Don't the girls look adorable in their Minnie outfits?!

Generational pic <3

Getting excited for the show!

Monnie & her boys

The girls are ready for the show!
It was so cute...both girls were dancing and singing to the music!

It was so adorable! Everyone loved the show and it was the perfect first Disney On Ice for the girls! I'm so glad our family was able to enjoy it together!

Can't wait for the next Disney On Ice! :)

Home for the Holidays

I love Christmas time ~ it's definitely, by far, my favorite time of the year! And this year it's extra special since it's not only Jayden's first Christmas, but it's the first Christmas in YEARS that my little sister is here with us! She flew in a few days ago and we get to spend the next few weeks with her and the kids! So excited she is home for the holidays :)

It's adorable watching the kids together! The boys love all the new girls in the family! And the girls are so cute together!

Brooklyn & Jayden LOVE each other <3

They love to give hugs...

and hold hands :)

Today we went to shopping to finish up some last minute Christmas shopping and Hunter wanted to sit right next to little Jayden in the shopping cart! It was so adorable!

And he wanted to give her kisses...it didn't even phase her LOL

I love having my sis in town! Makes me so happy to have her and her cute little family here! We have a fun filled few weeks...tomorrow we are going to Disney on Ice, Saturday we are having Hunter's birthday party and Sunday we are going to Downtown Disney and eating dinner at Rainforest Cafe! It's going to be so much fun :)

Happy Birthday Mommy

Yes indeed -- mommy is officially 29 years old! We had such a relaxing day - for starters Jayden almost slept through the whole night! She went to bed around 7:30 and woke up at 4:45! She ate and went right back to sleep until 7:30 :) What a big girl!

Daddy wanted to take us to lunch, so we met him at Islands with Monnie, Aunt B and Ella. Jayden was a little fussy, but as soon as dessert came out she was as happy as happy could be!!

We left no evidence...

Yummmmy :)

I love my little peanut!

I told Jayden all I wanted for my birthday was for her to say Ma Ma...but instead she sent me these beautiful flowers :)

I love how The Bouqs sends flowers right before they bloom so you get to watch the buds open! They are absolutely the most beautiful flowers I've ever received!

That night Jonathan took me to the Spectrum and we played games at Dave & Busters and then we went on the ferris wheel! I was so excited! It was a little cold...but since we were the only people crazy enough to be outside, there was no one else on the ferris wheel so they stopped us at the top! It was very romantic! <3

Best Birthday Ever :)

Waving Like a Big Girl

We are loving how interactive our little Jayden is becoming! She is developing her little personality and wanting to explore and touch everything! And her new favorite thing, waving!! About a week ago Jonathan was taking Jayden to bed and showed her how to wave ... and just like that, she started waving!

Now she waves all the time! The other day we were walking through Sam's Club and while she was sitting in the cart she was smiling and waving at everyone walking by. Of course everyone stopped to say hi to her and naturally she loved the attention :)

Since half the time she won't wave when we try to get her to and she only waves when she feels like it, I'm glad I caught her on tape as proof!

My favorite part is when she is looking down and waving and when she is looking at her hand trying to  figure out what she's doing :)

Today, Jayden helped me wrap presents! She's such a big helper! We listened to Christmas music and hung out while daddy attempted to put up our lights. Unfortunately, I bought the wrong hooks so he didn't get far.

Can't wait to see what Santa brings for our little peanut! T minus 17 days til Christmas!! <3

Thanksgiving

I know it's been a few days since Thanksgiving, but I really wanted to blog about it since there is so much we are thankful for this year! We started our day with Jonathan's annual "Turkey Bowl" football game with his friends. They have been playing for years and it's fun to get all the guys together for a quick game! I'm sad I didn't get a pic this year :( Usually I'm really good about taking a few pictures...I'll blame it on the baby brain!

After the game, we headed home to get ready for our thanksgiving feast. This year we were with my family so everyone met out at Mark's for our turkey dinner. Jayden looked ADORABLE in her new dress from one of our co-workers Debra!

As always, we go around the table and share what we are thankful for. I know it sounds so typical, but after everything we made it through this year, I'm more thankful than ever for my cute little family and my health. Jonathan and I brought Jayden into this world and endured 38 long nights without her -- I don't know how I would have made it through that difficult time without his love, support and strength. And of course I'm so incredibly thankful for my daughter -- she never ceases to amaze me...like my mom says, she is small and mighty :) I can't wait to see what the future holds for her!

Saturday we got together for lunch with Jonathan's friends - it was funny to see 3 out of the original 4 best friends have baby girls! So instead of the table full of beer mugs, it was nearly full of high chairs! A look back over the past 10 years...

And to think Jonathan always teases me about taking pictures...I'm sure he's thankful now! :) Here's to many more fun times together!!

From our family to yours, we hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving <3
