Lucky Number Seven

That's right...the girls are 7 months today! It's so much fun watching them explore the world around them and discover new things! They love tasting new foods and most recently their favorite food is Pumpkin & Cranberry mixed and Sweet Potato & Apple. Both girls go crazy when it's dinner time and sometimes we just can't feed them fast enough! Also, now when they are in tummy time, they are reaching for toys and able to turn and rotate. It won't be much longer before they are on the move.

Since the girls don't have a doctor appointment for another month, I had to do my own measurements for their height & weight today. It's probably a little off, but it will have to do :)

Sophia:
16 lbs. 5 oz.
26 inches

Savannah:
15 lbs. 11 oz.
26 1/2 inches

Both girls have TWO teeth in and are still drooling like crazy! I'm sure it won't be too long before a few more teeth poke through!

We finally finished setting up the second crib, so the girls are officially sleeping in their own room! Occasionally one will have to come in our room if they are a little fussy, but I don't mind :) It's nice having our room back to ourselves, but it's sad thinking the girls are growing up so fast!

I haven't finished decorating their room - but hopefully I'll find time this weekend to put Savannahs name on the wall and finalize all the small details of their nursery :)

I can't believe it's already almost Halloween! I of course had to take a few pictures of the girls today with a cute Jack-o-Lantern bucket. Savannah wanted to put it in her mouth the whole time while Sophia just wanted to hold it!

Happy Seven Months to the sweetest little girls I know!
Mommy & Daddy love you passed the sun, the moon & the stars!

Enjoy Every Moment

Since life is a little crazy these days, I feel like I'm always trying to play catch up…and my blog is definitely one of those things I'm trying to catch up on!

The last few weeks have been crazy, fun and exhausting! Every week is jammed pack with activities for us and the girls and the weekends seem to be even more busy! It's definitely fun and gets us up and out of the house (which is much needed at times!).

Every Saturday morning I've been running with some of my Treasured Mamas (formerly known as my MOPS friends). We decided to run a half marathon in January so we are training every Saturday together! We get out and run new places each week! So far we've been around RSM lake and Mission Viejo lake and tomorrow is the lake in Lake Forest :)
We will definitely not be the first team to pass the finish line in January, but our team name is Run With Purpose, and that we will!

Last weekend we went to Tustin Tiller days! Jayden was so excited as we drove up and she saw all the lights and the rides! She could barely contain her excitement! Almost all the rides required the kids to be 36" tall and since she's only 33", she was way too small. Luckily all she wanted to do was go in the bounce house and on the carousel - which she was tall enough for! I'm pretty sure she went on that merry-go-round about 10 times!

Bags are packed and Jayden's ready for an overnight with her Memaw & Papa!

She wanted to leave right then and there! LOL

We still go on our daily walks with the girls - BTW I'm in love with these Halloween jammies! They are my favorite :)

Today on our walk back from Starbucks, there was an older man walking towards us. As he approached Jayden was sitting in the front of the stroller and she was holding up her juice saying "Hi! Want some? I share!" When he passed us and didn't respond, she said, "No? Ok, Bye!"
I just about died laughing it was hilarious! She's such a sweet girl trying to share her juice with random strangers on the street…clearly she has no stranger danger!

Some of Jayden's favorites right now:
Her favorite Disney princess: Princess "Drasmin" (Princess Jasmine) & Belle
Her favorite food right now: Yoyurk (yogurt) & Yeh-eye Scream (ice cream)
Her favorite piece of clothing: Babysuit (bathing suit)
Her favorite meal: Fehfehst (breakfast)
Her favorite song: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Some of my favorite things she says:
Beauty: "Booty"
Muffins: "Fuffins"
Crickets: "Crehcrehs"
(that was a hard one to spell phonetically)

Jayden & Ella = BFF!

They are SO adorable together!

Last week Savannah had her first two teeth come in! We were just hanging out at small group on Monday when all the sudden Jonathan said her tooth came in! I guess she was chomping on his finger which helped her tooth break through!
Can't believe our little munchkin has her first 2 teeth already! We are still waiting for Sophia's first tooth to come in, but I'm sure it won't be too much longer!

I've also been working with the girls so they can hold their own bottle. We're almost there! They are doing great!

…and this sit-to-stand is their new favorite toy! They will play with it sitting up...

…or laying down!

They also love the jumperoo! Savannah will sit in there for about an hour and just hang out! It's the perfect entertainment when I'm cooking or cleaning in the kitchen!

The twins just had their 6 month photos done! I know I was a little late scheduling them, but life got in the way :)
Here's our preview!!! <3

We won't get the rest of them for a few weeks as we have to go back into the studio to take more photos. I scheduled this session outside and since it was so hard to get both of the girls to look at the camera at the same time, we ran out of sunlight…so our photographer was nice enough to offer another session in her studio (at no charge!) for more photos!

I can't wait to see how they turn out :)

Even though our life is crazy at times, Jonathan and I are soaking it up and enjoying every moment!
